Looking back at your preliminary task what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
I learnt how to use iMovie confidently and edit using the mac computer. Also I was able to use different technologies more than in the preliminary task as less equipment was used for the preliminary task. In the preliminary task a video camera was used, but in the film we used two cameras and I used my own digital camera to take pictures when filming and in the location. I feel I have developed a variety of skills with the full media product and can distinguish the differences between certain camera shots. Also I was able to be more involved during the filming process. However with the preliminary task we had a few ideas of what we wanted to show on camera but had to do some last-minute filming for this as what we filmed originally for the preliminary task got deleted by accident. Therefore when I went filming with my group at the chosen location we carefully planned our time, offered characters advice, rewinded the footage to check for any missing bits. I was more active and involved in the process than the preliminary task. However if I could have changed something or improve the process, I would have liked to take on tasks such as music choices or title effects

who would be the audience for your media product?

| The 15 certificate-above |
I have chosen to make my film a "15" because in 2009 223 films were released rated a 15 however only 49 films rated 18 were released. This shows a huge gap between the film certificate. Therefore making my film a 15 will give a better chance of more audiences being able to view it. The most common BBFC certificate issued in 2009 was a 15. This is surely going to attract more audiences.
How did you attract/address your target audience?
My film uses roland barthes enigma code. Barthes narrative theory suggests that the audience are curious and ask questions such as "who is the murderer?". An egima code will make the audience question certain points of the film such as why are those people there?
Altough my film was uploaded on to youtube and my personal facebook wall post, no responses came back unfortunately. However Yasmin Belkhayat a student aged 16 said the following about my film " The switch of the two cameras are realistic. I like the font used and titles at the beginning, because it set the scene"

I was able to attract my audience with the eerie music used for a horrofic atmosphere when the stalker was present. Also my film uses four female characters, this may be another reason why the audience is interested in the film-they feel they can releate to the other character. The setting- a forest and camp shows a natural setting and the audience wants to know what is happening . Below is the complete opening two minutes of the film whih demonstrates the effect the music has upon the audience and atmosphere created.
